Do I need passport for travel to Sabah or Sarawak?

Malaysians do not require a passport for travel to Sabah or Sarawak. You will need to show your Malaysian Identity Card as a form of identification.  

Non-Malaysians will require their passport as a form of identification for domestic travel in Malaysia.
